The trip goes to Suohpatjávri and our storlavvu where the guests get an introduction to lavvu’s customs and usage. It will be competition in lasso throwing with a prize for the winner. The guests are served traditional Sami food and drink, get experience joik and learn more about the Sami and our culture.
The trip starts from the Thon Hotel and we travel by bus/car to Suohpatjávri. From September-November, this will also be the perfect starting point for those who want to experience the magical northern lights.
Good to know:
2 people per ATV.
The tour includes training and necessary safety equipment. Recommended clothing is
warm outerwear, woollen inner-wear, woollen socks, mittens, scarf, hat and
warm shoes.
